Our objective today is to read, write and learn about the presidential election. We will be using our local newspaper to do this. The Buffalo News has been published and read for many years in Buffalo. It is now online to be read for free.

Please search for articles on Senator Obama, Senator McCain, and voting.
You will do this by typing that phrase into the "search" box.

Find one article for each. Read this article. Write one paragraph to summarize what the article is. Post this information on your blog.

To get a perfect score, your paragraph will have:
1. the title of the article
2. the day it was published in the paper
3. a summary of what the article is about

An example looks like this:

On Monday, November 3, 2008 the Buffalo News published the article "UB moves ahead with city plans. This article is about the University of Buffalo spending millions of dollars to build new offices and buildings. These buildings will be in a variety of places throughout the city. Much of this new construction will advance the medical centers in the school. Despite the upcoming budget cuts, the college will still be able to build. The money has been sent aside for many years.

You should have three paragraphs on your blog. One about Senator Obama, one about Senator McCain and one about voting. Each paragraph will be based on an article in the Buffalo News.
