Blogs of Black History

Objective: Students will create individual blogs based on an influential African American.

DO THIS -- Seats will be changed in the classroom. On your blog, post the names of 2 students that you would work well sitting next to. Think of students that you can get along with and work with.

DO THIS -- Today you will continue to work on your blog for black history month. Your blog needs to include the following:

1. 3 Paragraph biography (no copy & paste)

2. 1 paragraph describing what your individual has contributed to the world

3. 1 paragraph on why we have Black History Month

4. At least 5 pictures of your individual

5. A profile of your individual

6. An appropriate background

7. Under layout, add-

• newsreel about your individual or black history month (BHM)
• link list (3 other websites that deal with BHM or your individual)
• Create your own type of list that deals with your individual
• Add a poll that deals with your individual or BHM
• Add a "tip of the day" (gadgets - lifestyle)

READ THIS - Do not copy and paste for your paragraphs. I will checking this! You will receive a failing grade for this and will be taken off your computer. You can write your own paragraphs by: reading several websites, taking notes and writing the information in your own words.
